We partnered with Central City Concern in 2009 to create a 6-plex for clean & sober recovering women and their children.Laura’s Place has served over 100 clients since 2009 with 3-6 months of transitional housing.
We sponsored a scholarship essay contest in 2008 with Lines for Life and received 125 responses from 24 area high school student about their drug and alcohol refusal
Matching partners have donated $2,400,000 for 9 Portland, Oregon addiction recovery and prevention programs including Laura’s Place since my sister’s death. Total fundraising to date is $3,900,000. Our mission to make Laura’s memory matter continues.
